With all the unhealthy food we eat and sedentary way of life we live, most women get the problem of cellulite. This is something that modern advertising and TV made the No. 1 problem in today’s world. They are true to some extend as our ancestors did not encounter this problem. Cellulite makes you skin look unhealthy and ugly, yet the question of where you can completely rid of it remains open. Today we offer you to discuss some natural ways of fighting cellulite at home. Talking about natural ways we mean first of all the herbs and herbal remedies that may help.
To start with, what do we know about cellulite? It is mostly caused by 4 factors: hormonal change, predisposition due to heavy weight, dieting and lifestyle. The cottage cheese skin is usually a result of developing pockets of fat in the subcutaneous fat layer of our skin.
Perhaps, the best way to rid of this fat is by massaging and exercise that burns this fat. Massaging is usually done with the help of special hand-worn massager. Usually to increase its effect herbal oils are added. Anti-cellulite oils fall into three categories: oils that fight holding of additional liquid (orange, cypress, dill, grapefruit, tangerine, juniper, lemon and mother-of-thyme), oils for stimulating of blood circulation and toxins disposal from lymphatic system (sweet basil, pepper, cedar, cypress, dill, ginger, patchouli, rosemary), and oils for hormone balancing (chamomile, clear-eye, geranium, lavender, rose).
You need to make oil mixtures in such ways as to use the oils of all the three groups. It is usually recommended to have 15-20 drops of oil mix added to some base oil.
Here are a few recipes of anti-cellulite oil mixes:
1. Take 50 ml of vine stone or nutmeg oil and mix with 5 drops of geranium oil, 8 drops of grapefruit oil, and 5 drops of patchouli oil. In this mix, patchouli helps to rid the body of excessive liquid, adds smoothness to skin, geranium stimulates the circulation of lymph and detoxes the body, and grapefruit regulates the fat exchange and strengthens the blood vessels. In addition geranium oil helps with varix dilatation and normalizes hormonal balance which usually cause cellulite.
2. Take 50 ml of jojoba and peach stone (1:1 proportion) oil and mix with 5 drops of cinnamon oil, 5 drops of pepper oil, 5 drops of lime, 5 drops of orange oil.
3. Take 50 ml of corn sprout and vine stone (1:1 proportion) oil and mix with 7 drops of rosemary oil, 7 drops of juniper oil and 7 drops of geranium.
You may also come up with your own mixes judging on the information about every oil and mixing them according to the above-mentioned principle.

The life is changing, and this is seen even in the way we take care of our health. Today more and more people use herbs for health, rather than pills. Of course that does not mean that herbs for health can be the ultimate fix. Plus, as this “industry” is growing, cheaters can try to penetrate into herbs for health as well. But if you make a wise and nicely balanced decision – they can really assist you.
