One such story that hits close to home is that of my very own uncle. When my Uncle was young and married to his wife they had a son but they ended up getting divorced. In the end they split up and he heard nothing from his son until until he was 18 years old but my Uncle still did not feel like he was ready to have a relationship with him yet.
10 years later he felt as if his life was gotten back together enough to contact his son… problem? Yes there was a little problem, the fact that my Uncle had not idea how to contact his son or any idea of where they were. The place where he had last heard of his son and ex wife living was a no go since they had not lived there for quite some time.
I asked him what he thought about using the find people search to find his son online. I plugged in a couple of bits of information and a few people showed up that were not him. Finally I got the right results and one of the sites gave us not only his address but also his current phone number.
Some people might try to search on google to find the people that you are searching for. Maybe this will work for some people but I wouldn’t suggest it since the results can really be anyone. If you are going to try out google search then put in some additional information so you can get the right results quicker.
Some people try to use the whitepages when they want to search for people but this is not the best place to do searches for people. I have not been able to find anyone that I wanted to find through the whitepages but it’s always worth a look I guess.
